    How do you check your super contributions?<\/span><\/b><\/h2>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Log in to your super account and confirm your employer is paying the right amount. Since <\/span>Payday Super began on 1 July 2026<\/span><\/a>, contributions should arrive with each pay cycle.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Compare the contributions in your account against your payslips. Employers must pay the full 12 per cent super guarantee, and payments must reach your fund within seven business days of your pay date. If something looks short or missing, raise it early while it is easy to fix.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

      Should you consolidate multiple super accounts?<\/span><\/b><\/h2>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      If you have changed jobs over the years, you may have more than one super account, each charging its own fees. Consolidating into a single fund can stop those fees quietly eroding your balance.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

      You can view and combine your accounts through <\/span>ATO online services via myGov<\/span><\/a>, which lists every account linked to your tax file number. Before you consolidate, check whether any account holds insurance cover, because closing it cancels that cover.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

        How do you find lost or unclaimed super?<\/span><\/b><\/h2>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Super becomes lost when your fund cannot contact you or your account stops receiving contributions. The ATO reports <\/span>lost and unclaimed super reached $18.9 billion<\/span><\/a> across almost 7.3 million accounts as at 30 June 2025.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

        The same myGov super section shows any lost or ATO-held amounts under your name. Reclaiming money you had forgotten is one of the quickest wins in managing your super.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

          Fees and long-term performance vary between funds, and small differences compound over a working life. It is worth confirming your fund still suits you.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
