As a result of their ongoing development of staff, a vacancy has arisen for an Account Executive role in the affinity team, within their office located in the CBD. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, diligent and customer focused professional to take the next step and further pursue a career in Insurance Broking. The successful candidate will be provided with all the necessary training to be effective in the role and the ongoing career development prospects are endless.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Effectively manage an existing portfolio of SME & Commercial business schemes
  • Support and drive new business opportunities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key SME clients
  • Provide Risk Management advice and comprehensive insurance knowledge to clients
  • Maintain industry/market knowledge
  • Provide an outstanding and efficient service to all customers

To Be Successful In This Role You Will Have:

  • Experience in an Account Executive Or Assistant Account Exec role within a broking operation
  • Tier 1 broking qualification (essential)
  • Proven capability across a broad range of general insurance products, with a strength across all SME and Commercial product offerings
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
  • Excellent written, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Tertiary qualification in a business-related discipline (preferred)
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic
  • Ability to work effectively within a team
  • Experience using WinBEAT and Sunrise systems (highly regarded)
  • Proficiency with IT Systems and Microsoft Office Suite
