Job Description

Our client is a successful suburban Insurance Brokerage specialising in commercial and construction insurance whilst providing an exceptional level of service. They're positioned in Melbourne inner eastern suburbs and are seeking an experienced Assistant Account Executive on a Full-Time basis to assist an Account Manager with their portfolio. Candidates with experience working with these classes and clientele will be highly considered as will insurance acumen, customer service capabilities and a strong worth ethic.

The Need to Know:

  • Working largely with an Construction and Commercial portfolio
  • Need to be comfortable working with diverse client base
  • Demonstrate knowledge across all major insurance lines
  • Providing end to end broker support across an SME to high-end Commercial portfolio
  • Provide assistance with policy processing, quotations, claims, endorsements and debtor management
  • Preparation of reports, manuals, renewal letters, invoicing and policy documentation

The Must Have's:

  • Tier 1 qualification (desaireable)
  • Adaptable communication skills based on clientele
  • Sound knowledge of Commercial products (preferred) and General Insurance products (essential)
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • An understanding of policy wordings
  • Personable, proactive and customer focused
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
