Our client is an industry leader that manufactures and assembles equipment used in the Oil & Gas industry. This rapidly expanding organisation needs an experienced Document Controller for an immediate start based in the Southern Brisbane suburbs.

The Role

The purpose of the Document Controller is to perform administrative duties and office support for the Operations functions of the business. The primary focus of this role is on quality, manufacturing documentation and data entry. Key responsibilities include:

  • Effective communication between supply chain, production and QA ensuring production and delivery documentation demands are met ontime, contributing to the companies DIFOTA KPI
  • Early communication of delays in documentation to all internal stakeholders by maintaining contractual document tracker spreadsheets with set forcast dates
  • Expediting documentation from internal stakeholders
  • Organizing, printing, data entry, collection,compilation and archiving of all QA documentation and preparing Manufacturing Data Reports (MDR) for delivery to Client via online portal submissions.
  • Data entry of Manufacturing Data Reports (MDR) into the Company's Asset Tracker
  • Communication with suppliers to expedite delivery of documentation in full with reciept of goods
  • Actively contributing to a safe working environment with a culture of open and professional communication
  • Contributes to the departments continuous improvement culture
  • Maintains confidentiality of all matters
  • Other duties as requested and required

Skills and Experience

  • Diploma of Business (Preferred)
  • Previous experience in Bookkeeping
  • Oracle system use highly regarded
  • Previous experience in Planning
  • Prior experience with QCLNG projects highly regarded
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
