Responsibilities:

  • Coordination and supervision of the Fabrication Workshop
  • Ensure the team are across all aspects of Daily, Weekly and Monthly targets
  • Quality control processes
  • Identify and initiate training opportunities with your team
  • Drive Health & Safety initiatives with in your Fabrication team
  • Monitor, Maintain and Report on Maintenance requirements
  • Ensure all staff are completing Pre-starts and reporting on any maintenance requirements
  • Administrative functions including Onboarding and ongoing staff reviews
  • Provide technical support and advice to internal and external stake holders
  • Assisting the department on the tools as needed

Requirements:

  • Trade Qualified and experience in Aluminium welding and fabrication
  • Supervision experience
  • Providing on the floor training
  • Sound knowledge of Health and Safety best practice
  • Experience in workshop maintenance activities and reporting (preventative maintenance)
  • Coaching and mentoring of tradesmen of all levels
  • Administrative proficient in MS Office & H&S systems
  • Confident in reporting across all functions of the workshop
