  • Currently, an exciting opportunity has opened up within the Packaging team.

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Operator to join the team in a fulltime role, working on afternoon shift. This role requires operating within a fast paced production environment.

The role:

As a Logistics Operator - Packaging Level 4, you will be the first point of contact when supervisor is not on site. You will coordinate and delegate team responsibilities to ensure production requirements are met.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Produce production reports
  • Stock counting
  • Ensure high level of quality assurance with packaging returning to production
  • Coordinate with maintenance breakdowns or preventive maintenance requirements
  • Movement of raw materials and finished goods within the warehouse
  • Loading/unloading trucks
  • Operation of pallet/divider machinery
  • Pallet washing
  • Housekeeping audits
  • Undertaking manual handling duties
  • Any other ad-hoc tasks.

Essential criteria:

  • Microsoft Office capability (word, excel, outlook essential)
  • Current High Risk Forklift Licence
  • Demonstrated experience leading or supervisor a team
  • Be highly organised and a quick learner
  • Hold a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication skills
  • Cert III in Process Manufacturing or Warehousing highly regarded.

  • Be able to follow and adhere to the strictest of safe work practices and procedures
  • Possess a HIGH level of communication skills, BOTH verbal & written
  • Have high commitment to work and proven tenure in previous roles
  • Possess the ability to problem-solve and trouble shoot
  • Work well within a team environment
  • Be self-driven and show initiative
  • Show a passion for learning
  • Maintain a positive, professional attitude, and sense of pride in all that you do
  • Hold a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Be willing to complete Certificate III in Warehousing
  • Stand out from the crowd!!!
