About the Company

Our client is an agricultural business supplying a range of starch and sugar products to the food manufacturing industry. With a history of nearly 100 years they pride themselves on their quality products and service focused approach.

As National Sales Manager you will be managing current accounts across Australia and New Zealand and also growing the client base. Being the face of this global ingredient business here in Australia and NZ you will be autonomous to drive the business forward with the support of administration / logistics based in an office in Sydney

Duties

  • Manage key accounts ensuring customer needs are met
  • Optimise the sales growth of current accounts
  • Identify new opportunities for the company and grow the client base
  • Develop a strong understanding of customer's businesses
  • Monitor account performance and ensure targets are met
  • Prepare customer proposals

Skills and Experience

  • Tertiary qualified
  • Previous sales experience with Food / FMCG industry
  • B2B sales from raw material / ingredient company
  • A commitment to a high level of customer service and account management
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and execute for individual accounts
  • Strong relationship building abilities with internal and external stakeholders
