Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the Operating Unit (OU) OH&S vision
  • Drive the engagement with the systems partners and lead OU health and safety to achieve goals
  • Establish strategies for the region's health and safety, create governance and control to implement them and monitor the internal and external trends
  • Lead the development of a fit for purpose, risk focused and culture maturity-oriented health and safety
  • Develop and continuously improve the relevant performance models and systems to track risks and mitigation plans
  • Identify trends and challenges that impact business performance and work together to ensure models remain relevant
  • Provide leadership with key stakeholders to ensure investments are planned and requirements are met
  • Connect strategically with stakeholders and internal and external networks to drive performance
  • Lead in health and safety incident management and Crisis resolution (IMCR) at operating unit level

We are looking for someone with:

  • Minimum 8 years' experience in large scale transformation programs and change management
  • Expert in OH&S, including Manufacturing safety, Rout-to-market/commercial safety, Fleet safety, Industrial hygiene, Behavior and Culture systems, and Safety risk identification/prediction/prevention
  • Risk management and risk assessment
  • Experience in implementing OH&S programs around ergonomics, industrial operations, work at height and confined spaces
  • Knowledge and experience in FMCG industry
  • Knowledge in supply chain, logistics models, distribution systems, business models and specific challenges relating to OH&S
  • Demonstrate knowledge in troubleshooting and expert diagnostic for OH&S in the supply chain operations
