Job Description

MiniFAB is a world leading provider of custom designed manufactured medical devices. Due to an increase in workload, they currently require a manufacturing operator to join their Development Laboratory. This role will involve a mixture of QC, assembly, and general production duties.

Candidates who have worked in quality control and production within highly regulated environments such as medical device, pharmaceutical or food manufacturing will be highly regarded. The successful applicant will be working in a clean room, under strict GMP / ISO 13485 manufacturing regulations.

This position will span across Monday to Friday, involving day hours from 8.30 am - 4.30 pm, and is likely to involve a 6 - 8 week period.

An immediate start is available to the right candidate.

Duties of the role include (but are not limited to):

  • Some QC checks (visual) of medical device prototype products
  • Fine assembly of prototypes using hand-held tools
  • Using measurement equipment, jigs and other hand-held tools
  • Some packing of medical device parts and products
  • Working to production schedule to meet manufacturing targets
  • Reporting to the Development Laboratory Manager

Essential skills and requirements:

  • Strong experience in a busy GMP regulated manufacturing environment
  • Proven experience working in as a QC and manufacturing operator role
  • Great team player attitude and good interpersonal skills
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal + basic computer skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and efficiently
  • Great attention to detail / Takes pride in quality of work
  • Strong ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Great team player attitude and good interpersonal skills
