An exciting opportunity has arisen with one of our key clients in the dairy manufacturing space, supplying through Australia and overseas. We can say from experience that their culture, their commitment to personal safety and their commitment to food safety and hygiene, is second to none.
Reporting to the general manager, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient implementation and running of our clients food safety systems, advising department leaders of changes or potential issues, running quality committee meetings and participating in a range of GFSI, retailer and customer audits. This role is hands on - the quality team is lean but incredibly efficient.
Key responsibilities in the role will include:
Development of HACCP plans, documentation and reviews
Participation and planning of onsite audits
Close out of CAR's
Reporting on data and trends in the quality space
Calibration and routine maintenance activities
Customer complaints and investigations
Overseeing cleaning and pest control programs
To be successful in the role you will need to demonstrate:
Food science related degree or similar
Knowledge of multiple GFSI and retailer standards including; HACCP, DIAA (preferred but not essential
Strong Microsoft knowledge and the ability to work across spreadsheets
Experience in a similar role within the food industry, ideally in diary, beverages or liquids
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
