Due to ongoing growth our client is now seeking an experienced Sales & Service Consultant to join their dynamic team.

Our client is an established Insurance operation with a leading presence in their classes of specialisation and are presently seeking an accomplished Motor Underwriter/Sales & Service Consultant to join our team. We are looking for a highly driven and motivated individual, who is keen to help them achieve company goals and exceed their client's expectations. The successful candidate will have experience in a Motor Underwriting role (preferably motor & heavy motor) and enjoy working in a team environment. Strong communication skills are paramount along with impeccable customer service skills.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • End to end sales & service functions
  • Underwriting (quoting new business and renewals)
  • Supporting customers with enquiries on, and changes to, their policies
  • Processing all related policy transactions to maintain customer records

In order to be considered for this role you will have the following key attributes, strengths and skills:

  • Proven track record in a sales & service and/or underwriting environment
  • Over two years end to end motor experience, with commercial and/or heavy motor highly desirable
  • Effective communication, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Highly organised with a "can do" attitude
  • Effective in high-volume, high-paced environments
  • Excellent customer service and relationship building skills
  • Competent in Office & IT systems
  • Tier 1 in General Insurance preferred
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work effectively within a team-based culture
