Your new role:

You'll join the team as an Senior Account Manager responsible for your own commercial and mid-market portfolio but with the added responsibility of working closely with the Director to absorb some of the leadership responsibilities as a quasi 2IC. This client is looking for someone they can transition in to a management position over a short period to alleviate the day-to-day responsibilities, allowing for greater external focus.

Role includes:

  • Manage a portfolio of existing clients across a diverse range of products and industries
  • Grow the portfolio through leads, referrals and business development measures
  • Work closely with Director to understand day-to-day operations at management level
  • Provide coaching, mentorship and guidance to fellow office staff
  • Maintain thorough understanding of risk management practices
  • Provide the highest level of customer support to clients
  • Liaise directly with insurers and other industry services

What you will need to succeed:

To be successful in this position you should have:

  • 5+ year General Insurance Broking experience
  • Tier 1 qualification
  • Experience with mid-market and corporate clients
  • Understanding of large, complex and technical risks
  • Leadership skills and emotionally intelligent
  • Energetic and vibrant personality
  • Ambition to succeed and progress in your career
  • Self-motivated and a strong work ethic
