The Client

Proudly 100% Australian owned and operated, our client is a leading manufacturer of construction equipment and earthmoving machinery. This industry leading organisation is currently searching for a Customer Service Representative.

The Role

The purpose of a Service Receptionist is to support and improve customer service levels by making process improvements at all levels, working alongside key Managers, sales staff, branches and planning staff. Some duties and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Answer phone enquiries promptly and are ensure they are dealt with efficiently
  • Scheduling servicing as required
  • Build effective customer relations by understanding your customers and learning their business opportunities
  • Liaising with internal departments to ensure customer requirements are met, namely planning, branch nominated person and service departments
  • Keep customers updated throughout the service process
  • Undertake other duties when required by Management

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a mechanical environment highly regarded
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Component in computer systems; ERP, CRM, outlook email, word and excel
  • Highly organized and ability to time manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Highly motivated and self-directed
  • Must demonstrate the desire to perform in a professional manner as a team member as well as to give inputs on activities that will help complete project assignments in a timely and efficient manner while upholding the quality and safety standards.
