The Company

This is a great chance to join a well-respected 100% Australian owned manufacturer. This rapidly expanding organisation is in need of a Spare Parts & Service Coordinator for an immediate start.

We are looking for

Someone with mechanical experience, desireably in earth moving machinery & equipment (i.e Skid steers, excavators, bobcats, diggers etc). Someone with the technical ability to interpret spare parts, organise inventory & book/allocate machine services.

Responsibilities

  • Answers phone calls and actions customer enquiries
  • Greets walk in customers and attend to over counter spare parts sales
  • Processes quotes, orders, payments and invoices
  • Check in service and repair work and coordinate service technician schedule to meet customer demand
  • Interprets spare parts calls
  • Advise customers over the phone in breakdown situations and determine best outcomes
  • Monitors current/outstanding service orders to ensure customer expectations of completion are being met
  • Develops and maintains good relationships with customers and responds to technical enquiries on products/services
  • Performs daily after sales/service calls to previous customers
  • Carries out administrative processes associated with service and spares function, including maintenance of customer database
  • Monitors delivery/distribution of products/services to ensure alignment with customer expectations

Essential Requirements

  • Experience and knowledge of diesel engines, electrics and hydraulics
  • Excellent customer service and complaint handling skills
  • Highly Proficient in Microsoft applications - outlook/excel/word
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Confident in building rapport with internal and external stakeholders
