Job Description

Our client is a leading automotive company with a global presence. Currently they require an experienced Supply Chain Coordinator to join the National Parts & Accessories Division on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for supporting the assessment of suppliers (at risk) manufacturing capability and capacity to supply genuine parts and accessories to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage suppliers to ensure adequate supply
  • Analyse stocking levels
  • Formulate countermeasures and recommendations to achieve business objectives and reduce risk
  • Coordinate all time buy orders in a timely and accurate manner
  • Source change requests in a timely and accurate manner
  • Implement agreed supplier risk assessment projects, processes and procedures
  • Maintain existing databases to ensure data integrity and performance
  • Analyse and recommend past model production tools, and coordinate disposal or storage
  • Provide timely and accurate supply chain advice to internal customers
  • Coordinate key stakeholders to ensure project progress
  • Reporting and presentation responsibilities
  • Maintain database integrity

Key Skills & Expertise Required:

  • Experience in a Supplier based / Logistics industry
  • Experience in supply chain management in a Parts/Accessories environment (desirable)
  • Understanding of the Parts Business and its operational requirements (desirable)
  • Project coordination and risk management skills
  • Strong communication, data analytical, and organisational skills
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel

Key Qualifications needed for the role:

  • Degree in Business, Supply Chain / Logistics or equivalent experience (desirable)
