Recruitment and Marketing Internships

When you undertake an internship with us, we'll first take the time to understand what your goals are and what you’re most hoping to learn and achieve through the experience. From there, we’ll create a personalised, structured plan to ensure that you’ll benefit as much as possible from your time with us.

We regularly review this plan to understand how you are progressing in your internship, which helps us tailor the remainder of your placement.

No matter the task, you’ll play a critical role in our teams, and walk away with a new and invaluable experiences.

Apply

Apply for our program through your university, our website, or through GradAustralia. Be sure to have your resume updated and ready to submit later in the process!

Chat

If your studies align, you can expect a call from Alex, the friendliest person you’ll meet! She’ll ask some questions to learn more about you and ensure you’ll benefit from our program.

Interview

If we think you’ll benefit from our program, Alex will set you up for an interview with the Team Leader or Manager of the team you’ll join. It’s time to be yourself! We want to get to know you better, even though you might not have much experience in the field yet.

Begin

After successfully completing the interview, Alex will call you to confirm your availability and provide you with a 150 hour schedule. After the administrative work is completed, you’ll be notified of when your first day at Fuse will be!

What we’re looking for

Our target intern is studying a university degree in Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, or Sydney, and can commute to their local office. They have a good and confident phone manner, as well as proficient computer skills. They’re available for a minimum of 2 business days per week (though we can accommodate more) and bring a positive and courageous attitude to work!

Some things you’ll learn

In your internship you’ll learn a variety of skills, such as resume and telephone screening and how to interview candidates. You’ll create profiles for candidates, check references, perform police and working rights checks, and participate in sales meetings. You'll work to ensure that the business is compliant, while also gaining experience with industry-leading recruitment software.

Some things you’ll learn

During your internship, our marketing team will work alongside you and help you learn to use a range of marketing programs. You’ll learn to develop visual and written content for our internal communications platform, as well as graphic and video content for social media accounts. You’ll think about how to drive growth across Fuse’s social media accounts, and perform other ad-hoc marketing duties as they arise.
