With over a decade of experience in technology, transformation, and executive search, Leon Kondel leads Fuse Recruitment’s national Technology and Transformation division with a clear focus on growth, quality, and long-term impact.

Leon began his career in Germany, specialising in project management and SOW delivery. After moving to Australia, he transitioned into the recruitment space, quickly establishing himself as a trusted expert in the technology and transformation market—initially recruiting across Financial Services before expanding into sectors including Education and Utilities.

Prior to joining Fuse, Leon held a senior leadership role at Robert Walters, where he was instrumental in scaling the Transformation team from a single consultant to a team of six high-performing specialists. His remit later grew to include the Technology division, further showcasing his ability to build and lead cohesive, high-impact teams. His leadership style is underpinned by a deep commitment to delivering value for both clients and candidates, and by his belief in creating long-term partnerships built on trust, insight, and measurable results.

At Fuse Recruitment, Leon is spearheading the growth of the Technology and Transformation division as a national function, operating across Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney. While Leon holds strategic oversight of the division, he remains hands-on with key clients and senior candidates, ensuring the quality of service remains exceptional and outcomes are consistently aligned with business needs.
